Your health and well being is our top priority. We are providing in-person sessions following strict public health guidlines including enhanced cleaning protocols and appropriate physical distancing. Online and phone sessions are also available should you prefer.

Is counselling covered by my insurance plan?

Service provided by a registered pschologist are covered by most insurance plans. Please check with your insurance provider to confirm and to recieve more information on your coverage.

Do you direct bill insurance companies?

We offer direct billing if your insurance provider allows for it. Please check with your insurance provider for details about your policy. If your insurance provider does not allow for direct billing, we will provide you with an invoice with all the information you will need to submit a claim. Once a claim is submitted, the insurance company will reimburse you directly.

How much does counselling cost?

The Pschologist's Association of Alberta has set the recommended fee for pscholgical services at $200.00 for a 50 minute session. Clearview Counselling's standard fee is $200.00 for an hour session. If you prefer, longer sessions are available. Reduced fees are available for those with limited or no insurance coverage.

What if I can't afford it?

I believe counselling should be accessible to all. If you are not covered by insurance and are facing financial challenges, a reduced rate is available. Reduced rates, also know as a sliding scale, adjusts fees based on your monthly income. Verification of income is not required. Clearview Counselling sliding scale ranges from $120 to $200 per one hour session depending on your income.

What is your cancellation policy?

If you need to cancel your appointment,we require that you do so at least 24 hours in advance. Late cancellations will be billed at the full cost of the session. If you are unable to attend an in person appointment due to covid or any other reason,we can move your appointment online for no additional cost.

Are our sessions confidential?

Your privacy and confidentiality is of utmost importance. As a Psychologist I follow strict ethical and legal guidelines to ensure that what you are telling me stays with me.I will not release your information without your permission except in circumstances where I am required to by law. I will talk with you in detail about the limits of confidentiality the first time we meet.
